(ST Plastic Surgery Clinic, Korea)

What's UP, everyone visiting to ST blog spot?
Today, I would like to talk about one of the most famous and popular American show,
CONAN Show!

Firstly, let's find out who Conan is, the main host of the show!
When you google the name, the first person ever comes up is....

Conan O'Brien!
(Oh, there is Korea on the related search as well >_<!)

Who is Conan?

(ST Plastic Surgery Clinic, Korea)
He is the former longtime host of "Late Night" and abbreviated presenter of "The Tonight Show" and moved his talk show act to the cable arena. CONAN did start its journey in 2010 and has been loved a lot not only in the states but also all over the world (including me!)

There are lots of episodes but I would like to introduce some episodes related to Korea.

When Conan previously visited Korea, he met a Korean teacher 'Jin-sil' and learned some Koreans. What's funny about the episode is Conan's unique dirty talk and Jin-sil's cynical reaction while learning. (He even tried to write his name in Korean which he failed because she just let him look at his name in Korean for 3 seconds and asked him to write! But Conan still kind of copied alright.)

Conan & Steven Yeun Enjoy A Traditional Korean Meal

Conan did few episodes with Steven Yeun (His name is written in Yeun '연' however we more write it in Yeon). Steven Yeun is a Korean-American actor. He is known for his role as Glenn Rhee on AMC's horror drama television series The Walking Dead.

Steven himself was also grew up in the states (he was born in Korea) most of his lifetime so he neither knows about Korean culture well nor speaks very good Korean (but he does well). Conan accompanied Steven as his cultural embassador but they were so same, haha~

Steven Yeun & Conan Visit A Korean Spa - CONAN on TBS

This episode was probably seen by lots of people and the most loved one about Steven with Conan. They went to authentic Korean spa in the states and experiencing Korean style ttaemiri (때밀이/body scrub) which was definitely really funny~!

Conan Visits Noryangjin Fish Market

He went to fish market with Jin-sil and experienced different seafoods~ He bought a small octopus (the one in the watered plastic bag he is holding in the screenshot above) which was actually for eating but tried to bring it back to the states as his own pet, lol. Since it was not possible, he named the octopus 'Samuel' and put this in COEX Aquarium. (Samuel was actually female though, haha~)

Conan Catches Jordan Schlansky Coming In Late

If you ever watched any episode of CONAN with Jordan Schlansky who is the core producer of CONAN show, you will love him! His signature character being 'no face' no matter how Conan bothers him and everything Jordan says just sound so perfectly smart! This episode was about Conan visiting Jordan's office regarding Jordan's late coming to work on Fri.

I was impressed how Conan works hard and his true enthusiasm to try things while he was visiting Korea. He is not only just a funny guy talking well, but inspirational and becomes a good model of how to live a life! If you have time or enjoy your free moment, go to Youtube and watch his show!
