Hello, ST People~

Today, I would like to recommend

 Japanese fusion restaurant 
in Garosugil, Gangnam, Korea!

First question is that..what and where is 'Garosu-gil'??

Garosugil is the name of the neighbor around Sinsa station (line no.3) in Gangnam area.

The two main stations representing 'Gangnam' are 'Sinsa station' and 'Apgujeong station' which are both line no.3 and famous place known as the mecca of Korean plastic surgery. Also, the two stations are between Garosugil where the neighbor was named after having a long road lined with ginkgo trees. (Gingkgo tree is called '가로수(Garosu)' in Korea.) So! Garosugil means Gingkgo gil(road).

Garosugil is located near ST Plastic Surgery and on the way to Sinsa station, so you can have your treatments done first and have something to eat and shop around~!

So, where I would like to recommend you to go??

They open at 5 PM! and Close at 1AM! (12AM on Monday)

Since most of people working around Gangnam area finish working at 6 to 7 PM, it is hard to avoid waiting regardless weekdays or weekends. If you want to put your name on the waiting list first, yes you can! But you can only enter the place when every each member of your group arrives.

모찌리도후 (Japanese Style Tofu)

It is totally different kind of Tofu you could experienced to taste!

The texture is chewy like cheese and has some sweet nutty taste! So soft!

연어사시미 (Salmon Sashimi)

I'd never seen any place in Korea that serves salmon sashimi as thick as it!

Salmon is so soft, chewy, fresh, and even the amount is a lot!

Also it is served in beautifully decorated dish that you can't avoid taking the picture of.

연어 크림 파스타 (Salmon Cream Pasta)

Since most of their menu are made based on using salmon, you can taste both spicy and creamy taste made with salmon~

사천식 홍합 연어 볶음 (Sacheon Style Stirred Spicy Mussel Salmon with Pasta)

One of the few menu that you can taste spicy salmon!

Most of their menu are simple and raw while this gives you Korean-like spicy taste!

연어 머리 구이 (Grilled Salmon Head)

This is one of the most popular menu among visitors that you can taste nicely fried salmon! For your information, they might serve you for free if you order several kinds of menu. (I was served it for free few times since mostly I go there with my friends and order 3-5 dishes, hehe~)

Also, this is my tip to enjoy their menu even nicer!

They have different kinds of alcohols including Soju, beer, sake, or etc.

I recommend 청하 (Cheong-ha) which is similar to Soju but tates almost no alcohol at all!

Soju mostly has 18% alcohol content while Cheong-ha has only 13%!

Since the alcohol is not that strong, it goes so well with their dishes.

(But no alcohol for 2 weeks after the surgery, alright? ^^)
