What's UP, Korea?) SBS' representative TV show, 'Running Man'

How are you, everyone?
Continued from the posting about Infinite Challenge yesterday, today I would like to introduce another popular Korean TV program which represents SBS, one of the three main broadcastings as well as KBS and MBC.
Running Man
Compared to Infinite Challenge, I think I did not like Running Man when it just started. The program seemed to be quite similar to Infinite Challenge not only the two members there, Yoo Jae Suk and Haha who are the members of Infinite Challenge, but also it looked copied in the way the program was made.....however!
Every members of Running Man worked really hard and have been running the show with full of energy (As you might know from the name of the show, it requires lots of energy since they are just running everywhere while playing games), the program became not only the SBS representative one but also one of the most popular show in Korea.

Yoo Jae Suk(유재석): Comedian
We say there are three gods in Korea; God-Yoo(유느님), God-Yuna(연느님), and God-Chicken(치느님). hehe~ Yoo Jae Suk is definitely the one of the top TV host (I would not say he is a very funny comedian because nowdays he is more known and focused as the main host who is leading the show and supporting the guests.)
I heard he is one of the most wanted MC whom people want to work with!

Kim Jong-kook(김종국): Singer
His debut was 1995! Can you believe how long a person could still be favored and popular like him? It has been over 20yrs and still he is quite popular! Not only in Korea, but he is also famous in China as well. He is well known for his singing, perfect body, and strong power during Running Man games.

Lee Kwang-soo(이광수): actor/model
I would say Lee Kwang-soo is the true winner of Running Man (even all members are benefited). Kwang-soo started his careere as a model and became an actor. As I remember, he was neither that well known nor favored by public by the time Running Man started. But public got to see him more close by knowing his real character through the program and he became more familiar with people like me~ He is so funny and cute!

Song Ji-hyo(송지효): actress
Similar to Lee Kwang-soo, Song Ji-hyo was also not much popular personality among public yet she was more known as conventional actress who mostly appears in drama. She got her first nickname 'Mong Ji-hyo(Blank Ji-hyo/멍지효) which refers to the often expressionaless stare that Ji-hyo is seen with. As the only woman among all the men, she is one of the top game player!

Ji Suk-jin(지석진): comedian
I actually did not or do not know much about Ji Suk-jin since I am not sure what could be his representative careers besides Running Man. He is quite close to the main MC Yoo Jae Suk (they even have a club that their closed friends are in who liked to talk~)

Haha(하하): singer
As well as Yoo Jae Suk, Haha is the regular member of two big big programs; Infinite Challenge and Running Man. Since Infinite Challenge is aired on Saturdays and Running Man is aired on Sundays, he has been constantly exposed to public therefore he is quite popular especially younger generation who are the main viwers of the programs. In Running Man, he is in charge of both talking and slapstick comedy.

Jeon So-min(전소민): actress
Another female member recently joined! She was already well knwon actress when she first appeared in the program, and became one of the main funny characters in it! I seriously did not know how funny she could be like this! She seems to be well adjusted by existing Running Man fans!

Yang Se-chan(양세찬): comedian
Actually, I did not know if Yang Se-chan did join the program. (I got to know it when I was preparing for this posting!) When??? If you had seen Infinite Challenge, you could come up with someone who looks similar to Yang Se-chan~! Which is.....Yang Se-hyeong! They are brothers and became in charge of both Saturdays and Sundays! Amazing!
My recommendations are~
Unlike Infinite Challenge, my favorite program, I did not know what episodes could be recommendable~ (I watched the program many times but did not focus though...)
Instead~ I watched some clips on Youtube which you might enjoy watching too!

Kwang-soo is so adorable that I chose two clips for him! I've been the full version of this episode and it is definitely recommendable!!!

I also like the members' talking while moving to another places~ The second one was Ji-hyo tring eating fermented Skate(홍어). I would never recommend this food to anyone (especially who has fantasy about Korean foods). There are different fermented foods like Kimchi but fermented Skate is not something people could easily try to eat. I heard it smells like ammonia and your nose will be cleared up right away when you try it. (meaning...I have not even tried it yet....I'm so afraid!!!)
