What's UP, Korea?) My Favorite Korean TV Program, 무한도전 (Infinite Challenge) !

Its seems times fly! Today is already 8th day of January!
(I wanna hold the time T_T.... At my age, time seems getting faster T_T...)
Today, I would like to introduce my favorite Korean TV program!
I used to live in the states for about 5 years at the early 20's and this program comforted me a lot while I was suffering from lonely living aways from home.
Infinite Challenge

I would say 무한도전(Infinite Challenge) is undoubtedly one of the top South Korean programs (to me, it is the best ever!!) which has been broadcasted for 12 years! It started with its first episode in 2005 and already passed over 550 episodes! (for your information, Infinite Challenge is a weekly TV show on every Saturday)
There are 6-7 regular members who started the show together, were some changes about few members, and now is fixed as 6 members! (Jo So-ho, a comedian, just joined it few days ago officially)
So, who are Infinite Challenge?

Yoo Jae Suk(유재석): Comedian
Yoo Jae Suk is believed to be the most trusted and popular TV personality in South Korea who has been highly ranked for almost a decade on different surveys. He started as a comedian but more known as TV host with his excellent talking skills and leading different shows. (Besides Infinite Challenge, he is also the main host of Running Man, another top TV show)

Park Myeong-su(박명수): Comedian/DJ
When I saw his profile on google, I found it funny that he is sited as DJ more than comedian~ He is known for both occupation, but more know as comedian in Korea. He has many different nicknames mostly happened in Infinite Challenge and is in charge of sub-main hosts of the show with Jeong Jun-ha~

Jeong Jun-ha(정준하): Comedian/Actor
Jeong Jun-ha is very talented comedian who also does musicals and acting as well. He is mainly in charge of slapstick comedy in Infinite Challenge also good at acting a fool! (he became famous for acting a fool before joined the show) He is also sub-main host with Park Myeong-su.

Haha(하하): Singer/Entertainer
Haha used to be the youngest member when the show was in the beginning as well as Noh Hong-chul, (they were friends and like 27 or 28 yrs when he started the show! Really young) but now maintains the neutrality of the show.

Jeong Hyeong-don(정형돈): Comedian

Jeong Hyeong-don, known as his nickname 'Doni', used to be my favorite member but no longer with the show since he quit for health reason. (He is back to other shows but not to Infinite Challenge...T_T...he used to say the show gives lots of pressure since it is too popular and gets lots of attention by public...) I personally think Doni is a comedian who has speaking skill and also good at slapstick comedy as well.

Noh Hong-chul(노홍철): Entertainer

Noh Hong-chul is probablly the most missed member by public who suddenly quit Infinite Challenge for some disgraceful happening in 2014. With Haha, he used to be the youngest member of the show and gave lots of energy to the show, so people found the lost so big when he quit...I still somehow feel like he could comeback but he clearly mentioned that he is not coming back to the show T_T

Gill(길): Singer

Gill was well known singer who was a former member of Korean hip-hop due, Leessang, as well as Gary (who is the member of Running man, another popular Korean TV show on SBS). Public did not seem to be happy for Gill joining Infinite Challenge because he was nothing proved as entertainer by the time he joined. He became the important role of the show by continuous efforts but quit for the same reason as Noh Hong-chul in 2014.

Hwang Kwanghee(황광희): Singer
Kwanghee is the first member Infinite Challenge picked as a regular member after losing Gill and Noh Hong-chul. Public did like his joining to the show since he was more like disliked character (he became popular after confessing his plastic surgeries) but seemed to well adjust himself to the show. He is now in army March, 2017, and is believed to comeback to the show when he discharges.

Yang Se-hyeong(양세형): Comedian
Yang Se-hyeong was and is the one who became SBS' open recruit comedian at ths age of 18yrs and was well known for his talking skills. He became the main comedian of tvN comedy show 'Comedy Big League' as well as his younger brother, Yang Se-chan, and even joined Infinite Challenge.

Jo Se-ho(조세호): Comedian
* New member!
Jo Se-ho became the newest member of Infinite Challenge just few days ago! (Infinite Challenge officially announced it!) He used to be on the show shortly as a guest and I definitely thought he could be doing a good job!

Kim Tae-ho(김태호): Television director
And...we should not forget him! Kim Tae-ho, the main director of the show! The reason why Infinite Challenge is amazing and important in Korea is because it changed the existing variety shows in new ways. Kim Tae-ho was not the first PD started Infinite Challenge but the show became structured and popular after Kim became leading the show. (he also became more handsome as well, >_<!)
My recommendations are~
1. Muhan Sangsa (무한상사) feat. G-Dragon (2017)

Muhan Sangsa is the name of the company where Infinite Challenge members work in the show. It became the main series of the show once it got popular by public and G-Dragon appeared first as new employee! G-Dragon is one of the most favored personality Infinite Challenge adores! He appeared in the show so many times as well as joining few series of Song festivals~!
2. Chasing series (2017)

When Infinite Challenge shut down for several weeks, it rather broadcasted the series of most popular episodes. Infinite Challenge did lots of chasing series and aired top 5 chasings on the day!
3. Summer vacation (2009)

This is my favorite one! I personally like their humble episodes like character show. People say 2009~2011 was the golden age of Infinite Challenge that the members were all regular who started from the beginning and every episodes were sooo funny! This episode was about the members being elementary school students and before&after the vacation.
4. Song festivals (2009 ~ )
Song festival started with a single episode but became the biggest part of Infinite Challenge. It was very small event but now became huge that each festival has more than 45,000 people coming for and every listed songs become higly ranked on Korean music stores.
Each member picks or is paired with a singer, creates a song, and does the stage on the day of song festival. It is held every 2 years which 2017 was the latest one.
