What's UP, Korea?) Meet all Korean idols at 주간아이돌 (Weekly Idol) +_+!
Hello ST people~
Ew~~~ Korea is really cold T_T Everyday, the news says today is the coldest weather of the year, but today! It was really cold today!!! If you plan to come to Korea in winter season, get prepared with thick clothes!
As we all know, K-pop is very popular not only in Korea but among many international countries and I can feel the popularity of it everywhere~
If you are interested in K-pop and Korean idols, I would like to recommend a Korean program that you can see different Korean idols every week!
주간아이돌 (Weekly Idol)

Weekly Idol is aired on MBC Every 1 (There are 4 main broadcastings; SBS, KBS, MBC, and EBS. And we call 'Cable TV' for every other channels which are aired besides.) MBC Every 1 is one of the most popular channel among cable TV that airs both its own programs and the reruns of MBC's programs.)
Then who are the hosts of the program??

Jeong Hyeong-don (정형돈): comedian
Jeong Hyeong-don is one of the most well recognized comedian and host in Korea who used to be the main member of the top Korean program 'Infinite Challenge'. He quit the program for health issue (Infinite Challenge involves lots of physical activities and much energy.)
After came back from taking a rest for few months, he continued to be in charge of Weekly Idol which was one of his few programs.

Defconn (데프콘): rapper
Defconn was not much well known to public since he was a rapper who used to deal with depressing songs and strong rap and it was not popular type of music to people. But he became more familiar with public once he appeared in Infinite Challenge few times as a guest and did show comic talents of him~
He still releases albums as a solo or duet with Jeong Hyeong-don (he is good at music too! Very talented!) and their duet is especially popular not only in music but hosting the show as well~ Such a good pair~!
Since the show started from 2011, there are just so many idols appeared but I picked up three the most popular and funny episodes!!!
1. IU (아이유)

IU is definitely one of the top rated Korean singer who is good at not only singing, but composing and producing her own songs~ Instead of idol, she is believed to be more like artist in Korea.

It was 2013 when she was on the show and look at how young she was!!!
She is and looks young now too but was like a baby at that moment!

The two hosts were so waiting for IU to be one the show and finally she came!
IU's episode is my personal favorite one because the three people looked so funny, harmonized, and seemed to really enjoy the moment together~

Jeong Hyeong-don has good combination with most of idols probably because he has been hosting the show for a long time but also based on his supporting skills earned from other different shows.

There are only three artists who were served Korean beef (it is much more expensive compared to pork imported beef) in the show; IU, G-Dragon, and BTS. It is kind of the program's own way to treat top stars!
2. G-Dragon (지드래곤)

About G-Dragon, I don't thinke there is any explanation needed.
He is the most outstanding member of top Korean boyband 'Big Bang', recognized as one of the top celebrities, and the name 'G-Dragon' itself is more like brand worldwide.
He is all-around entertainer as an artist, fashion icon, and personality. He appeared in Infinite Challenge multiple times (more than 10 times!), has been attending Infinite Challenge's song festival since 2013 and got familiar with Jeong Hyeong-don whom he paired up in the lastest season of song festival.

귀요미송 (Gwiyomi song/Cute song) was so popular the year he appeared in the show which the song has specific cute action goes together, and G-Dragon did it! He was so shy with the fact that he had to do this though, hehe~

Not only Hyeong-don tries to make G-Dragon comfortable, but G-Dragon himself is truly seen to be enjoying the moment with Hyeong-don~

Hyeong-don is known for his awful fashion sense (he looks good on the show because he has his own stylist) but ironically points out Idols' fashion sense including G-Dragon~ As you might know, G-Dragon is known for his perfect fashion sense and sponsored by famous luxury brands, so it looked fun when Hyeong-don said blah blah on G-Dragon's fashion (not only the day, but he used to do it in the past too, lol~)
3. BTS (방탄소년단)

And there we have BTS! No doubt, this Korean boyband is truly one of the most well-recognized idols among many...and they are my favorite now >_< (guess which member I like the most!!)
BTS appeared in Weekly Idol 3 times~ I don't know if the program could invite them again since BTS got just so popular and busy going arounds~

This was the second moment in 2015 and they all looked so young here~
This was the moment V won a game, got a chance to have Korean beef and was asking other members for cute action to earn a piece of beef~ Suga never did such things but he came up first and look at his arms and hands haha~ (RM is sooo cute!)

I believe RM did a really good job and was the funniest member of the day~ Obviously, Hyeong-don pointed out RM's fashion and called him 'Pink boy' during the day~

In the latest episode in 2015, Kim Hee-chul, the member of popular Korean boyband 'Super Junior' replaced Hyeong-don (I don't know why he did not make it) and was super funny with BTS members! This happened when Jimin failed from Random dance (they randomly plays the artist's songs, let them dance, and pick up the member who did wrong) and was giving him kiss on the cheek as a penalty~ soooo cute!!!
