Today, it is raining in Seoul! It's been a long time to have a rain~

After this, we are expecting much better weather next week!! I cannot wait, yeah~

 

 

I checked our surgery schedule for today and was surprised it is still full!!

Since new semester will begin in early March, it is the end of peak season for plastic surgery in Korea~

 

Most of facial surgeries require about a week of recovery time (to look okay with people around), this week will be the last chance to have a surgery for students~

We have been talking about how different our Orbital Fat Repositioning Surgery is from another existing methods~ Through smoothing the ligament areas and five fixations, the result is stronger and long lasting!

Orbital Fat Repositioning Surgery can be done on all different ages and conditions since it could be done by laser on transconjunctiva or incision on under eyes. Not only dark circle caused by hollowness, fat, shadow or etc, but also loosen skin can be tightened.

She has beautiful balanced eyes and clear double eyelids, but do you see what's the problem? If you look at her under eyes, the color is much darker compared to other eye areas. Surprisingly, it is already covered with concealer.

Not only from the front view, but the problem is also visible to see from the side view as well. Sha had noticed the problem and considered a surgery for a long time. Finally, she came to our clinic where is NO.1 Under eye clinic in Korea!

1 week sounds not that long but seems like forever for those who receive surgery and get through the recovery time. Since you are going through one of the most ugly(?) moment in your life, you cannot take a mirror off from your hands and keep thinking what's going on.

 

If you did not expect any after condition, all the changes you can see during the first week recovery could be burden to you. It will all get better, but we understand it is not easy to wait to be back to normal condition.

 

 

 

3 Days after the surgery

If you are on the 3rd day of surgery, then the hardest moment is now all gone!

Most of patients develop their swelling and bruises 24 hours after the surgery up to 3 days, then getting subsided.

 

If you compare the amount of bandage from the surgery day, you can see the tape on the 3rd day looks much lighter. Since the swelling develops a lot during the first three days, we apply tape very thick to compress the surgical area and reduce the amount of it by 3 days. Depending on individuals, it could be removed earlier too~

 

 

 

1 Week after the surgery

A week after the surgery, you do not need any taping under eyes, can wash fully as well as having some makeup on. (be careful not to press the surgery area too hard!)

1 Month after the surgery

The downtime of Fat Repositioning surgery may vary depending on individuals and surgical methods, however most of patients go through 1-2 weeks.

Around 1 month after the surgery, you look most likely stable.

It may look very okay from outside, but the inner side is still in the recovery period since the surgery area is not fully healed either hard or contracted.

The incision was made by laser in transconjunctiva where you cannot see from outside, and it needs to be healed and new adhesion during recovery.

3 Months after the surgery

Looks like the bulging part is now all gone, and the under eyes look very flat and good!

It may vary depending on individuals, but you could mostly see the final result around 3rd month of surgery. The color of under eyes look a lot better than before~!
