ST Plastic Surgery) Baby like under eyes! (from Before to 2 weeks!) #1
Hello ST people~
How are you all!
Early in this year, we had a patient visting from Japan came all the way to Korea to have her under eye surgery by Dr.Kim!
She is in her late 20's and had been struggling from her irregular under eyes for a very long time~ When we met her in person, we could see that she likes to put make-up and dress up herself, and also cares about her look~ (she was so cute +_+)
Before she was visiting ST Plastic Surgery, she also shared some her before photos how bad her under eyes used to look like!
Before the surgery

If you look at her photos (focus on the under eyes!),
she had asymmetrical fat bulging on both sides, dark circle caused by the pressing fat and also the crease below the loveband area (especially on the left eye) which already seem to be quite noticeable due to fat bulging&facial expression.

When she make slight facial expression?
You can see the bulging fat starts to press the lower eyelids more that the dark circle color on both eyes getting darker.

When she smiles?
They look absolutely noticeable! OMG!
All the problems like fat bulging, tear trough, hallowness or pigmentation becomes mixed and they make very visible irregularity of under eyes..
She's wearing make up beautifully but the texture or color of under eyes could not be hidden! How should we fix that?
Solution: Orbital Fat Repositioning Surgery
So she came early this year, saw Dr.Kim for face-to-face consultation,
and got her surgery on the next day of consultation!
Here we have her photos after the surgery~
The day of the surgery
(ST Plastic Surgery Clinic, Korea)
Right after the Fat repositioning surgery, we put gauze and bandage a lot and very tightly on under eyes to compress the under eyes!
After the surgery, the overall front cheek including surgical area starts to be swollen within 24hours and the swelling develops up to 3 days~ Of course the swelling degree is different depending on individuals however some people look still fine during the days while others could find it even hard to open their eyes because of swelling~
After (Day 1)
(ST Plastic Surgery Clinic, Korea)
When swelling developes? Looks like here!
Patients sometimes think the only under eyes would be swollen but actually the related area like the whole eyes and front cheek could be swollen too!
As the under eyes become swollen, you could feel dryness on your eyeballs, have more amount of tears, and even your vision could be blurry as well. Those are just temporary that you can feel during the early healing process and you will come back to original condition as time goes~ No worry~
For those 3 days of swelling development, you are recommended to do frequent icing with given icepacks from ST, not press the area but gently make them cool~ The icepacks do not have to be iced but you could use them if they are cold enough! Keep them in the freezer and use them as much as possible~ Your further swelling process is up to how much you take good care of it during the 3 days! Very important!
After (Day 4)
(ST Plastic Surgery Clinic, Korea)
On the first 2-3 days, the thick bandages are removed then you have this colored under eyes! Swelling and bruises happen together and they could also happen on your eyeballs too~ (can you see her white part of eyeballs are reddish?)
As you might know, bruises have its process by color; black and blue, purple, green, and yellow~ Most of her under eyes now look at the last parts of bruises process while the areas very close to the eyelashes are still purple~ This is all different depending on individuals~ Bruises mostly disappear within 2 weeks or at least by 3 weeks unless you were really severly bruised in the beginning~

She did not have any surgery on double eyelids area but you can see the folds look bruised as well~ which is absolutely find and normal to happen! No worry~
(ST Plastic Surgery Clinic, Korea)
After 3 days, you do not have to use icepacks no longer but can do warm compressing rather! How? Put the given icepacks into boiled water and make them gentle hot!
DO NOT EVER MICROWAVE THEM! NO WAY!
Ice packs for Swelling and Warm pressing for bruises!
Wam pressing can be done as long as you want~ mostly within a week!
After (1 week)
(ST Plastic Surgery Clinic, Korea)
The color of bruises on under eyes and white eyeballs look greatly subsided!
This time, you could still see the under eyes look not that flat due to swelling~
Swelling improves a lot within a week but that does not mean it is completely gone! You may look quite fine from outside but the inner swelling is still happening~
Minor swelling also becomes better as time goes and the final result would be expected around 6 months!

This time~ you can have full wash and wear some make up to cover the visible bruises under eyes! Keep being careful not to press the under eyes~!
After (2 weeks)
(ST Plastic Surgery Clinic, Korea)
After 2 weeks? where did the bruises and swelling go?
Even without make up, her skin and texture look still flat and very even!!

The change, isn't it amazing?
She used to have irregularity on under eyes even without facial expression, but look at how even her under eyes are now! Also the color does not look as dark as before the surgery! Look so clear~!
She has been updating her change with us so we will be back with her photos up to 3 weeks next time! Stay with us!

ST's Orbital Fat Repositioning Surgery fixes the under eyes into 5 points after flatting the area so that result looks more strong and has less recurrence of original condition!
