Today, we would like to sheare one of our patients who is in her 20's and had surgery at the end of last year!

She is in her early 20's and an ordinary girl who likes to hang out with her friends, dress up, and loves K-pop (BTS the most, yeah~)

When we met her on the consultation day, we asked her to put the least or no makeup so that we could check her condition more clearly. (If you did not, you could remove your makeup at the clinic too!) As we asked her, she put almost no makeup on her face including eye makeup~

She said she did not like her bare-faced or feel very anxious and lack of confidence when she is not wearing eye makeup especially concealer on under eyes. It is....because of her visible dark circle! Her skin color and texture was really nice and even but somehow the under eyes looked quite darker compared to other skin areas.

As you might know, dark circle could be caused by different reasons; pigmentation, visible vein&thin skin, fat compressing, loosen skin, or etc. She had severy combined conditions but most mainly fat compressing and hollowness caused by the pressured fat.
So we recommended her to undergo 'Fat Repositioning Surgery' through conjunctiva which does not make visible cut outside of skin but everything is done inside conjunctiva.
The day of the surgery

On the surgery day, under eyes are completely covered and pressed with thick layer of gauze so that further expected swelling for the next 3-4 days could happen less. The very thick outer layer will be removed the next day of surgery while you will keep the thin inner layer for the next few more days~
While you are having the layered gauze, you could feel uncomfortable from not being able to make natural facial expression and wash your face. But! There will be no or only tolerable pain and you will feel much more free when they are removed!
5 Days after the surgery

5-6 days after the surgery? All the layers on under eyes are removed then you can see how your under eyes look like in real. At this moment, almost every patients have very visible bruises in purple, green or yellow color and they last about 1 week more (or takes up to 2 weeks in case of having very thin skin or complicated case)
If you worry about bruises? Need to return to work fast?
You can do warm compressing with given icepacks! We provide an icepack on the day of surgery which every patients need to use for icing during the first 3-4 days! This is for swelling~
Then you could use it after putting in boiled water (NEVER microwave it!) and put on the bruised areas for warm pressing. This is for bruises~ Icing is very very recommended but warm pressing is optional and you may do it when you need to return to something important very fast!

Even without saying, she looks much much much better!

She now wears eye makeup and color lenses as she used to enjoy before the surgery~ Even she is wearing makeup the same, but never looks the same as before! Much more vital~
