Hi~ I want to share one of our patients' eye surgery ~

She has good skin complexion but looked somehow much less animated without makeup.

Even when she put make up on and her overall skin tone got much brighter, the dark impression is still there.

How could this happen? What is Fat Repositioning Surgery? Is it that effective? 

 

Have you ever heard of a surgery called Fat Removal?

Fat Removal is the surgery to remove the bulging fat under eyes that presses the ligament and makes under eyes darker. For more precise, the border between bulging fat and hollowness under eyes make the appearance darker and depressed.

 

The fat does not disappear without its removal however it always had been a problem when removing too much amount of fat or the removed part becomes hollow when getting older. (The combination of saggy skin and hollowness cause older looking.)

So, we have new technique called 'Fat Repositioning Surgery' which removes either only very little amount of fat or at all but fill out the hollowness using existing fat so that there is no worry for being hollow after the surgery.

 

However, what the problem most hospitals had was how to make the result stronger and more solid. Eyes are the most sensitive areas among other facial parts so require more experienced techniques of the surgeon.
