Nowadays it's raining.

Today I'm gonna introduce you very local beer pocha in Hongdae!

Beer King MJ

Pocha is a Korean version of izakaya.
Like izakaya, pocha started out as tented restaurants on wheels which sold common Korean street foods.
In 1997(the crisis of Korea economy), hundreds of business men who lost their jobs found themselves drinking away in pocha.
Since then, pocha became an important part of Korea’s drinking culture.
So you can feel the late 90's atmosphere from the old fashioned theme of Beer King MJ.


It looks very retro , likely far ago's Seoul beer pub.
look at the table and chairs... haha


I like fancy restaurant or pub
but sometimes, it's really fun to drink in retro mood pub.
It feels like going back to 1990's


Korean style food really match well with beer&soju.
